Alení
Night Kitchen
Visual identity for @aleni.barcelona, a nighttime dining restaurant hidden inside the lobby of @hotelbrummell, in the Poble-sec neighborhood of Barcelona.
The identity begins with a beam of light emerging from within Alení: a glow in the darkness, a whisper on a quiet night. A play of contrasts, the lights and shadows that shape the entire visual system.
When night falls, Alení’s red lights up and the evening begins: tables drawn together, conversations stretching late into the night.
And a place that says: Good Night.

Menus are hand-stamped with the logo, adding a human, informal touch. This method also supports the kitchen’s flexible, seasonal approach: new dishes can be added without needing a full reprint, while the stamp keeps everything visually consistent.
Custom coasters extend the visual language with a series of bold, minimal illustrations. Using the same light-versus-dark approach, each one becomes a small piece of the identity.
